Copyright and takedown requests
macOS Torrents consists of catalog pages and notes about Mac software. If you own a copyright and believe that a page on this site infringes it, please send a written notice to [email protected].
Contents of a notice
- The web address of each page you are concerned about.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- Your name, address or email address, and telephone number if you wish.
- Your declaration that you believe, in good faith, that the rights holder, a representative or the law has not permitted the use.
- Confirmation that the details given are correct and that you hold the rights or represent the person who does.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Review
When a notice contains all of the above, the identified material is removed or disabled, and you will receive a confirmation. If information is missing, I will reply and ask for it. A notice that does not identify specific pages cannot be acted on until it does.
Counter-notices
Anyone who thinks a removal was unjustified may reply with a counter-notice, sent to the same address. It should identify the material and where it appeared, explain why you believe the removal was in error, and include your contact information and signature. The counter-notice will be forwarded to the person who submitted the original notice.
Repeat notices
Each notice is reviewed using the same procedure, whether or not the material has been the subject of an earlier notice.
