The climb-anything mechanic is the first thing you notice. You can scale nearly any surface, slide down sheer drops, and jump between ledges with a freedom that most platformers don't allow. The game is an atmospheric narrative first-person platformer set in a large and dangerous structure, and the retro 3D graphics are modernized just enough to keep them readable without losing the old-school feel.

Along with climbing, you have jumping, sliding, and scanning — the scan ability helps you read the environment, which matters in a place this large. Checkpoints are automatic, so you don't have to hunt for save points. It's a straightforward package: you explore, you climb, you piece together what happened. If you want a platformer that doesn't hold your hand, this is worth a look.
A starting route through the first area
When you begin, you control the android just after it leaves the home colony. The glitch you are chasing is visible in the distance — head toward it. The first few minutes are about getting a feel for the climbing picks. Any vertical surface with enough texture can be climbed. Press and hold to attach the picks, then move the mouse to look where you want to go next. Release and reattach as you go up.
You will come to a gap that is too wide to jump across normally. Look for a ledge above you on the left side. Climb up, then slide down the far side of that ledge to build a little momentum — you can clear the gap with a jump at the bottom of the slide. The game does not teach this directly, but it is the first place where sliding and jumping combine. After that, you will find a scanner node. Use the scan ability on it to reveal a short data log. That log gives context about the structure and points you toward the next section.
When the picks won't grab a surface
- Picks won't grab a surface. Some walls are purely decorative. If the picks don't stick after two tries, look for a different route — there is almost always an alternate path nearby. Move the camera closer to the wall; sometimes the hitbox is picky from an angle.
- Sliding stops short of a jump. You need a straight, clear run before the drop. If you bump a bump or a lip on the way down, the slide loses speed. Back up a few steps and line up the slide so your path is unobstructed.
- Lost after a checkpoint reload. The automatic checkpoint system saves your progress, but it does not give you a map. If you respawn and do not recognize the spot, scan the immediate area — scannable objects are usually nearby and will point you in the right direction.
Spend the first session just climbing
Spend the first session just climbing. Do not worry about story beats or logs. Find a wall, climb it, look around, slide down. The control scheme takes a little muscle memory, especially the timing of pick release and reattach. After an hour, the motions start to feel natural.
Set the language to English for the voice logs — the voice language is English only, regardless of the text language you choose. The subtitles are available in the other listed languages, so you can keep the text in your preferred language and still hear the original voice work.
