Nine plugins, three formats, one bundle. Safari Pedals Everything Bundle 2026.05 collects the developer's full effects lineup in VST3, AU, and AAX — so it covers Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and most other Mac DAWs without extra wrappers. Intel and Apple Silicon both run on macOS 11 and later.
Check your host, then pick your sound
- Make sure your DAW or host accepts VST3, AU, or AAX. Most modern Mac audio software does.
- Go through the bundle and decide which effects fit your current project: Level-Or for dynamics, Fox Echo Chorus for modulation, Cassette Bunny for lo-fi character, Ladybug Reverb or Rhino Reverb for space, Dirty Dog Reverb for grit, Hawk Phaser for movement, Lion Master for master-bus control, and Sun bear for saturation.
- Insert the plugin, adjust the handful of controls, and move on. Safari Pedals keeps the interface simple — one or two knobs per effect, no menu diving.
- If you need the newest addition, Cassette Bunny (added in this version) gives you a worn-tape sound without extra layers of controls.
The bundle works as a single installer. You get all nine effects in one pass, no separate downloads per plugin. For an office Mac that occasionally handles audio work, it's a compact way to cover reverb, delay, modulation, and dynamics without filling up the drive with individual installers.
A mixing engineer's after-hours session
You've spent the day balancing dialogue levels for a corporate video. Now it's nearly midnight and you want to finish a demo mix for a friend's band before the weekend. The session is six tracks of drums, two guitars, a bass, and a scratch vocal. No time for complex routing or learning a new channel strip. You grab the Everything Bundle because it's already installed from a previous test on the office iMac.
The drum bus gets Dirty Dog Reverb — just enough to glue the room mics together. The bass runs through Sun bear for a little harmonic distortion, something that keeps it audible on laptop speakers. The vocal gets a short slap from Yak Delay, set by ear in about ten seconds. Fox Echo Chorus goes on the clean guitar arpeggios, and Cassette Bunny adds a subtle wow-and-flutter to the whole mix for about eight bars during the bridge.
You don't open a manual. You don't look for a preset menu. You finish the rough mix in under forty minutes and export a WAV file. The next morning you open the same session, swap Cassette Bunny for Camel Strip on the vocal, and bounce a cleaner version for the band. The plugins behave the same way on recall — no surprise parameter jumps, no blank GUI panels.
Rescue a flat folk-rock mix with Ladybug Reverb
You open an existing Logic project — a stereo mix of a folk-rock track you started last week. The mix feels flat because the room tracks were recorded in a dead space. You insert Ladybug Reverb on the auxiliary return and dial in a medium decay. The tail sounds natural enough that you don't feel the need to EQ it.
Next you add Lion Master on the master bus. You don't touch the threshold until the chorus section hits around bar 24. One look at the gain reduction tells you it's doing maybe two or three dB of work. The mix stays open instead of squashing into a brick.
The acoustic guitar track gets Level-Or to even out a few loud strums. You set the attack fast enough to catch the peaks but slow enough that the transient still pokes through. That takes about three playbacks. The plugin stays in place for the rest of the session.
By the time you're ready to print a rough mix, you have six instances of Safari Pedals plugins running. CPU load is fine. You bounce and move on to the next task.
Set Lion Master's release to medium before mixing
Most Safari Pedals plugins arrive with a default setting that works well enough for auditioning. You will want to change a few things before you start a full mix session.
- Lion Master — turn the release to a medium or slow setting first. The default attack can be too fast for a whole mix. Start with the threshold all the way up and bring it down until you see two dB of gain reduction on the loudest section.
- Ladybug Reverb — the default size is larger than most mix engineers expect. Cut the decay time by about a third and then decide if you need more ambience.
- Dirty Dog Reverb — the grit control is zero by default. Turn it up gradually while listening to a snare hit. Stop when the reverb tail starts sounding like a real room instead of a digital effect.
- Cassette Bunny — the wow-and-flutter amount defaults to a moderate setting. If you want the effect to sit beneath the mix rather than sit on top of it, back the depth control down to about one quarter.
- Sun bear — start with the drive at minimum and increase in small steps. Too much saturation early in a session is hard to undo later without re-recording the track.
These are starting points. Every plugin responds differently to different source material, so trust your ears before you trust a number.
Safari Pedals work on Intel Macs and Apple Silicon
Will these plugins work in my DAW if I use an Intel Mac? Yes. The bundle ships in VST3, AU, and AAX, and it runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. As long as you're on macOS 11 or later, you're fine.
Do I need to install each plugin separately? No. The Everything Bundle uses a single installer that places all plugins into your system's plugin folder at once. You authorize them once and they appear in your DAW's plugin list.
Can I use these plugins in a surround or immersive mix? Safari Pedals plugins are stereo or mono-to-stereo. They work well on stereo busses and individual tracks in a stereo mix. They are not designed for surround formats.
How much space does the full bundle take on disk? The installer is modest. The plugins themselves are small because they use sampled impulse responses and lightweight processing. You won't need to clear a large project to fit them.
What happens if I open a session on a different Mac that doesn't have the bundle? Your DAW will report missing plugins. You can install the bundle on the second Mac and authorize it there. The settings you saved with the plugins are stored in the session and will load correctly once the plugins are present.
- Added Cassette Bunny, a lo-fi cassette-style effect.
- macOS 11 or later
- Intel or Apple Silicon processor
- VST3, AU, or AAX-compatible host
